Bergen County New Jersey Law Firm

As a law firm comprised of two female partners, Cowen & Jacobs brings uncommon perspective and experience to our cases. Our Bergen County attorneys strive to develop a rapport with our clients. This often allows us to craft individualized legal solutions.

Skilled New Jersey Lawyers

Our partners have diverse backgrounds that together provide our clients with an uncommon breadth of knowledge and insight. Our attorneys have served in the capacity of Adjunct Professor at New York Law School, and a member of the Bergen County Ethics Committee, as well as an Arbitrator for the Bergen County Superior Court. Two of our attorneys were law clerks to superior court judges, and one is a court appointed Mediator. We are proud that since our founding in 1987, our firm has never missed a statute of limitations for filing, never been sued for malpractice, and has never faced an ethics complaint.

Whether we are handling a case involving divorce, personal injury, a pedestrian accident, or employment law, our single most important objective is to efficiently and effectively advocate for you. In addition our attorneys can effectively work with clients who speak Spanish, French, and Yiddish.

Mediation can avoid the need for costly and time-consuming litigation. Nonetheless, we understand that mediation is not always possible. We have the skill and experience to represent our clients’ interests in court when necessary. Contact us for a consultation today.
